Souper Bowl of Caring

2/5/2012On Sunday February 5, 140 million Americans will tune into the Super Bowl football game, our nation’s largest
sporting event. There will be food and fun for many people watching the game. At the same time, there will be people
struggling to feed themselves and their families for the day. The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement
started by youth to combat this hunger.
The EYC youth will be at the church doors before and after the services on February 5 to collect for Souper Bowl!
Please consider donating or bringing a non-perishable food item to donate. The collection will be donated directly
to the New Kent Food Bank. To help out at this time of the year when food stores are typically low, we will be collecting
non-perishable items throughout the month of February. Please consider donating to someone who might
otherwise go without.
